About Our Church

New Season Ministries started in January 2008 with 15 people. It was birth in much prayer and intercession in the perfect will of God. It was spearheaded by a dedicated group of people with the blessings of our stalwarts the late Savy Naidoo and the late Johnny Parboo. The church first gathered at Crossmoor Transport with the kind permission of the directors. Due to its steady growth, the church moved to larger premises at 16 Dales Avenue, Pinetown in February 2008.
It was at Dales Avenue that the church was unanimously and aptly named, “New Season Ministries under the leadership of Pst Lionel and Pst Monica Frank. Being young and passionate about Kingdom work and Kingdom advancement, they were handed the responsibility of steering NSM forward. Under their leadership NSM has become a church that knows - that 'New' means being different and unique. NSM has since hosted many medical missions, soup kitchens, blanket drives, winter schools, street evangelism projects, a mass wedding, conferences and a list of many community focussed projects.
Then in 2014 we decided to upgrade and move into something safer and user friendly. In 2014 NSM relocated to more suitable premises at 12 Payne Street, Pinetown. During the next two and a half years the church continued to grow steadily and it became necessary to look for larger premises with a view to purchasing property, as opposed to leasing. This was not an easy task, but the team nevertheless persevered in faith.
In September 2016 NSM acquired their own property in a giant leap of faith at an auction in Durban. Prophecy was fulfilled when NSM moved into their own building at 1 Warwick Place, Pinetown.
NSM continues to impact the community of Pinetown, by networking with the Metro, SAPS, local councillors and other churches across KZN. NSM is a church that has become known to promote the gospel in creative and radical ways. In keeping with the vision of NSM, Pinetown was shifted to a higher level spiritually through two awesome projects, namely;
A) "Jesus Belongs in our City" - Which was a prayer walk through the city
B) "Taking back the Kingdom" - A kingdom building conference with international guest speaker, Bishop Tudor Bismarck.
The team at NSM are passionate about Pinetown and believe that with God on their side they can make the world a better place. NSM will continue to be a church with a global will transform the city of Pinetown into a Godly city.
New Season Ministries is a church for all seasons, and for all people, sharing the good news about our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, till He comes again for His Bride, THE CHURCH.
Pastor Lionel Frank & Monica Frank
Pastor Lionel Frank and Pastor Monica Frank are the Senior Pastors of New Season Ministries in Pinetown that was founded 2008. They reside in Hillcrest, Durban and have two beautiful children Joshua and Jocelyn.
Their vision for New Season Ministries is to be a dynamic and vibrant church whose mandate is "To be a global church that transforms the city of Pinetown. To connect Pinetown to the world and connect the world to Pinetown"
Pastor Lionel, together with his lovely wife are humble servants of the Lord. They are committed and dedicated to serve every person that passes through the doors of New Season Ministries. They enjoy great success in the ministry of New Season Ministries with life changing testimonies, fulfilment of prophecies, and the demonstration of the supernatural power of God.
They are very passionate to build the church of Jesus Christ and see people find Jesus. The have a hunger for lost souls and are extremely mission minded. Some of the projects they are involved in are:
- Jesus Belongs in my City - Street marches creating awareness and spreading the gospel in the city of Pinetown.
- Daily feeding scheme for the homeless from the church basement.
- Networking with the civic organizations like the SAP, Metro Police and Community Policing Forums to create awareness for community upliftment.
Dr Lionel and Pastor Monica Frank are true leaders who lead by example with integrity and trust and are forceful tools in advancing the Kingdom of God. They are influential with a calling to leave an imprint on all those whose lives they touch.
